What a beautiful reminder of the importance of connection and human kindness and how it feeds and shelters us when we are feeling, lost, alone, and vulnerable. It’s available to us whenever are hearts and minds are open. We need each other. Thank you for sharing.
Every little and expansive vista of this I love. I so appreciate the kindness of your eye and voice. Hoping your current surgery is a corrective not simply medically but in terms of restoring your confidence…you’ve had such a time of it, and I hope there’s a smooth recovery and abundant honey cake
This piece drew me in because I instantly recognised coming out of Grand Central and seeing the PanAm building. I love and miss New York so much, now that the orange man has decided I am not allowed to visit anymore. But I can read your stories and eat a bagel, take a cab with Mo, be hit by messenger bike, and feel like I'm there again. Your writing does that for me. Thank you.
This lovely piece is like peeking into a tiny corner through the monocular. Tiny moments, small connections, little events. Meaningful, big, and beautiful.
Always a lovely, tiny space in a world gone cold, digital and unkind. ❤️ Thank you.

Beautiful, as usual, Elissa. I hope your shoulder surgery goes well and you have an uneventful recovery.❤️
New York is full of great stories and this one was a gem ❤️

I love this, thank you.
There is reason I have read your writing for years - sweet and deeply resonant pieces like this one, with its so-important "tiny corners."
Wow, this piece resonates! Thank you 😊 and how are you and your min these days? Be well and safe.
Sadly my mom passed in October.
I’m so sorry ❤️🩹
