In our small town, in fact Connecticut's oldest settlement, some residents are decorating their homes for Pride Month. Last year one person painted their fence in rainbow colors, very nicely done. The colorfully decorated homes really add a whole new fun, and educational visual to our neighborhoods. I expect to see more residents participating in the future.

It is truly wonderful to know that your lovely small town is supporting Pride -- we're all very grateful. x

Thank you thank you thank you. Yay to cooking more plant based food - and Mediterranean yum. Also thanks for the reading list. I have a similar weekend to you.

Where I live in Australia it is a long weekend but I will work the Monday - am treating myself to a night at my friends place 45 minutes drive away and I will teach her how to make Tikka Masala - of course plant based -

Walking on the beach, gardening very soon before I go and finishing off the brilliant memoir by Heather Rose- Nothing Bad Ever Happened Here.

Have a magical weekend - thanks for your lovely subscription.

There's a coffee shop in town, it's owned by a couple who now are Mom's to their first child. It's a very popular hang out for all kinds of locals.

Thank you, thank you for this beautiful post. I have lived in Connecticut for 35 years and never heard of Steep Rock Preserve. It is not far from my daughter's house! I will take my granddaughter Ellie there, my little firecracker born near the fourth of July. She has endless energy and I can't wait for us to explore these trails!

I tried reading Romance of the Three Kingdoms in early 2021...reading about the dissolution of an empire at that time did not lead to sweet dreams!

So many goodies from you in this one post. ❤️🙏❤️🙏 for the shout out to @sixburnersue. It’s a crazy driving weekend for us but we are back to DE from the lovely memorial service in PA and finally out in dad’s beautiful garden helping this amazing 93 year old with pruning, digging and more. A blessing in the midst of definitely too many things going on at once for me. I’m going to have to write a post about not following my own tips for serenity! So I’m living vicariously through you this weekend! Thank you and happy pride!
