Re publicity - Katherine, I think you absolutely should say I really don't want to talk about that, I said what I wanted to say in the book.

Yes, the subtextual shaming... I was asked this question yesterday, "Why would you share such personal information about yourself in a public forum?" There was a judgment attached to it. Not "aren't you brave" but "aren't you stupid."
I'm glad I scrolled through your archive and found this conversation. I was stymied at how to respond. Aghast actually, stumbling over words. I ended up dismissing by saying, "To be continued," but of course I won't. Hearing the two of you in this conversation is affirming. Thank you.
