So many good things coming together here. Proud of you for asking for help, and glad this appointment with hope and love is in the Filofax. You've got your end of the couch - plenty of helpers waiting to help lift the other end.
I was privy to a conversation in which one of the speakers said he turned over the face of his watch and wrote “now” on the other side to remind himself of what matters.
you know, i am sitting here, reading this.. and i’m thinking to myself how i literally have 3 calendars that i look almost every single day. you’ve inspired me to take out my simple planner and just...write there.
I have mine, and it is still my buddy. I use an online calendar program (google, ick) but there is nothing like those precious pages, waiting for HANDWRITTEN appointments. Kept all the old ones too, so I have a record of my life via the annals of Filofax. I remember when it seemed so modern, now it feels like it hails from some odd corner of organizational antiquity.
Elissa: IS THAT A FILOFAX? Oh how I love mine. Nothing modern, updated or electronic will ever replace this tidy and very British calendar system. I love it so.

Good luck Elissa! You got this 💪
Best wishes, taking the first step is usually the hardest, may the rewards be multiple.
Asking for help is so hard and so very hopeful.

Of course !! The couch !! Jeeze terrific
I got everything ... including the recipe, even tho I don’t eat chicken - but not the film clip? Why ? Please - I don’t get the connection?
That’s where the iconic “trapped under something heavy” line comes from.
Ok terrific - I get it - the couch ! Wonderful Thankyou
Enjoyed your post very much!
